Re: what xbox live arcade titles should i actually buy
i'm not really interested in SOTN since i have it and play it on my ps2. plus i thought it kind of looked like shit on xbla.
i will probably go with triggerheart eventually, also.

I don't have a 360 yet, but I'm considering getting one, primarily for the Live Arcade games.
I was curious if there is a way to back up the games once you purchase them? I'm just thinking of the future when Xbox 360 is but a memory. Will you be up shits creek if your 360 RROD at that point?

No, all of your game information is attached to the hard drive, not the system or your account. Unless something happens to the hard drive itself, your games will be fine.PhilExile wrote:I don't have a 360 yet, but I'm considering getting one, primarily for the Live Arcade games.

I love playing XBLA titles! My favorites are Geometry Wars 2, Pinball FX, and Castle Crashers. If you haven't played Alien Hominid that would also be a great one to buy.

Yeah but what happens if that burns out. It's one of the things I hate about this downloadable content "fad"(I hope). What happens in 10 years? You're not gonna be able to go buy those games again on ebay like you can with snes/genesis games.

I really doubt downloadable content is a fad, it just keeps getting more and more popular, all the new systems have a downloadable content store, and look at really popular PC download services like Steam.Jrecee wrote:"No, all of your game information is attached to the hard drive, not the system or your account. You could still possibly buy hard drives or memory cards (at least for 360) with those games on them.
