Oh i have played "It came from the Dessert" Come to think of it we rented a TurboDuo and those 2 games the same night as kids. We actually were intrigued by "It came from the Dessert" because 8bit CDrom technology was insane then. Oh the "acting" was so awseome. Both are so terrible take your pick.

Downtown Nekkutsu Monogatari (port of River City Ransom)
Gain Ground SX (port of Sega's arcade classic)
Loom (point-and-click adventure)
Terraforming (shoot e'm up designed by Syd Mead!)
