Yeah, I guess I should to the same. I still haven't even gotten the "get yr 2nd ship" thing to work. So I guess if I could master a few good strategies like that then I could really up the asskicking.

well, I beat my current highscore, and cracked 60k.

Almost breaking 200K now...up to 183,830.

I'm wondering why racketboy is only displaying the default high score of 20,000 as their
best effort.

Atari, yr a real bastard! I'm getting CLOSE to breaking 70k. It seems like Level 12 is my breaking point.

I must say though, I can't believe how fun this game is. It's so simple, and yet can be so hard!

This is great, alot of people are into modern day shumps and score posting...but it seems many people forget about the classics.

I'll post up tonight.

Might I recommend everyone post a picture of their score? Via a camera snap shot(TV or Arcade) or a screenshot(mame).

I was planning on doing that at the end of the month.

I was at about 209K and had only lost one ship up until that point
and then my game last night was unfortunately interrupted.
Afterwards, I couldn't quite get back into the zone.

Jeez. You must be a Galaga vet, man. I had never played before this month.

I got ~59,000 on my cell phone version of Galaga.

150K is my best. I've been meaning to get back into this game and see if I could crack that elusive 200K.
