Re: The deals that slipped away..
Here's a sad little story. A bit before Christmas, as an "early Christmas present", I was given 50 bucks to buy something game related. I kinda wanted a new system, namely a Dreamcast or Sega Genesis. So I browse around Ebay a bit, only to find a Dreamcast bundle: Dreamcast system with box, 2 controllers, 3 memory cards, and copies of Shenmue and Jet Grind Radio... opening bid 49.99. Only an hour or so left, no bids.
I wait awhile, then when the last 5 or 10 mins hit, I made a bid. Then I realized something, while 50 bucks was the opening bid, it had a much hire minimum it had to hit for the seller to actually sell it. I tried to bid higher and higher in what little time left, I went as high as 75 bucks and it still didn't hit the minimum. So I failed to get the Dreamcast.
Here's the lame part though. After that happened I went and bought a Genesis and some games instead... I found out that the guy selling that Dreamcast put it back on Ebay, but now the 50 dollar price tag (plus a few bucks shipping) was the "Buy it Now" price... I guess he realized that it didn't sell the first time due to having that price limit. But I'd already spent all the money I could that month, so I had to let it go.

I wanted to be a Teminator but they require you have an armored hyperalloy skeleton and mine's mostly recycled truck tires.
