Now I do want to give you guys some context about that paticular teacher that i made teh remark to. SHe was well known for berating her students, especially ones that she felt were poor at art. The class was an elective, and some took it for the credit, (but mostly for and easy grade I'm sure), she ruled with a wooden yardstick. I'm not saying that all of the kids were golden, but man, if you were gifted at art, she would put you on a pedestal and show you off and tell everyone, and I quote, "Why can't you other students create works of art such as Angela? You embarrass the art profession with some of the dribble you try to pass off as art"
But guess what? She was fired several years later for having relations with one of the female students who she thought was gifted. So yea, it was warranted what I said, I was defending all of the others she told would never become artists. One of the kids in my class went on to become an comic book artist and does quite well for himself.
Yes, I was an asshole back then, and prolly still am, but I respect others and their opinions and would welcome all of you into my home if you want to come over and play some gaems.
You might get whipped at them by my daughter though as she is getting into arcade games something fierce now.
