Erotic is new, Pachinko is not. It'll be at least their second, maybe 3rd Castlevania Pachinko game.
Not that I've ever absently considered how much it would cost to get my hands on one in the states or anything.... *shifty eyes*
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed
Chronically out of date BST thread

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Recently I've seen a couple instances of a trend I hope doesn't completely catch on: A tweet or article title that reads something like "Release Date for Game X Revealed!". Then you read the article and the revealed "date" is something like Q1 2016. That is not a date. That is a range. You don't call your buddy and say you'll pick him up at exactly 5-7PM. Obviously it's all about the clicks when they write this stuff. They know exactly what they're doing, but that doesn't mean it's not bullshit.

I personally really really want the Vampire pachiko machine. Animation looks really nice on it, they even have an original rival for Felicia in it who's like Felicia mixed with Karin Kanzuki.KalessinDB wrote:Erotic is new, Pachinko is not. Why the hell is Guitar Hero Metallica still $10 at GameStop? There's no copies below $16 on eBay! At least for the 360. I can't even be pissed I traded this one. It actually got stolen from my house along with my old 360. I thought every guitar hero game was going for the change under your couch cushions. Did the announcement of the new ones really raise the price that much?

So far each chapter of the evil within is a hit or miss. 3-6 where really cool but 1,7,8 where a bit boring or just totally lame. One is literally a hallway but in wet caves, there's nothing like a lot of ammo or a new weapon or talking to someone or interesting level design... just wet caves.

Sore losers stink.
I'm about to say something sexist, as I have very few guy friends who will play competitive games with me. My gal pals are always up for a game of Columns, Wii bowling, and games of that ilk, but when I ask a buddy if he wants to "have a go" at say Tekken or a sports game it is usually a solid "no".

To be fair, I don't think I'd want to play a fighting game against someone unless I was somewhat familiar with it, knew some move inputs, etc. Same goes for sports games, though to a lesser extent.
As for puzzle games, I'm always down for that sort of co-op because generally "the rules" can be learned in a minute or two. I taught my wife how to play Magical Drop 2 the other day, it took about 30 seconds. Now she's better than me.
