Once you figure that out, there are lots of options for every price point.
Other questions would be "What's your budget?" and "Do you want a printer that can put ink on basically anything?".

I would be great resource for industrial printers, but if you are printing a few things from home, consumer reports would be of more help than I could be.

I think an all-in-one is the way to go these days.

In addition to printing I also use the copy feature to make copies of important documents. Stuff like birth certificates, tax crap, and the like. I also use the scan feature to archive all that shiz on a hard drive.

All in ones are great, if you are not printing high volume. If you are printing in the hundreds every day, a dedicated laser printer is the way to go. They can be as cheap as $50 (Samsung M2020W), or several thousand (Ricoh c8002). Regardless, toner prices is where they get you. Back when I sold printers, I sold alot of Oki Datas over HP Laserjets (which I have owned a 4l, 5p, 5mp, and 6l - Pretty solid laserjet fan before this).

Oki Datas are made so if you have the gumption, you can replace most any part easily. Also they were the first to separate the applicator and the drum so your toner cost could go down significantly (now ten years later all toner prices have gone down alot but at the time it was a savings of $60 each time).

But in private communications, Noise has told me this is an office printer, and the cost of the repair is slightly less than a new one, so I suggested just buying a new one of the same and keeping the old one for parts - Brother HL-3170CDW.

Planning to attach a square of stainless steel to the plastic roof of my jeep so that I can use the magnetic strobe they gave me to use while delivering mail. Does anyone know a good adhesive for attaching metal to hard plastic that will hold strong enough for me to drive around without having to worry about my light flying off?

Considered just mounting a light bar but that seems excessive and I like the idea of being able to take it off when I'm not working since this is my personal car as well.

More of a question than asking for advice, but:

Anyone personally budget their four years at college? Possibly something like an invoice statement/expense report? Did you keep records of how you allocated your money?

If so, please share.

My stainless steel refrigerator will not take any fridge magnets. You might want to test that stainless plate and see if a magnet will work, most do not.

Harbor Freight has very strong Welders Magnets. Possibly could sandwich under the roof and strobe light (opposite pole) magnet?

Yeah ended up going galvanized  . Forgot stainless is not magnetic :P. Anyways it's on the roof now and holding solid and is working great so far the JB Weld is holding nicely. Also isn't very noticeable, but doesn't hurt the aesthetics to much even if you see it.

Now for another question. So my refurbished Canon MX860 finally died after 3-4 years of solid service which isn't bad seeing as it only ran me $50. I now need a new printer, but I'm not sure which way to go. I already have a solid B/W laser printer that we use 90% of the time, but I would like to get a color printer so I can print some artwork out for the universal game cases I just got.

The two options I am looking at right now are either getting a color laser printer that I can use card stock with(running around $150-$300), or getting a ink jet printer($60-70). Also maybe picking up a laminator Laminator($25-30). Anyone have a color laser printer and is the quality much better over an average inkjet?

Need some pet advice. So it's started getting colder around 35-40 degrees at night and I want to start bringing the dog in the house so he doesn't freeze his balls off. Anyone got any suggestions on cages or carriers for a larger dog(around 3 feet long if you count the tail and maybe 50-60 pounds).

Here are a few I was checking online, but any suggestions or advice would be great.
