The Evil Dead is my favorite horror movie. I have seen Within The Woods and all the Italian La Casa movies... this is a big deal for me haha.

Black Mirror - British show, 6 episodes, each is a stand alone - each feels like a movie and is completely unique. Think Twilight Zone for the 21st century - very very good.
Halt and Catch Fire - only 2 episodes in but really digging it so far. 1980's setting (done very well) and computer engineering / reverse engineering / business ethics, etc etc. (noise - you would LOVE this show).

Re: So what have you guys been watching lately?
Finished up Black Mirror - was solid, but only 6 shows means we're onto other things.
Boardwalk Empire - there is something missing and I can't place it. We're on season 3 right now and while it's enjoyable - it isn't must watch TV. Acting is solid, set decoration is excellent, multiple storylines to follow...but something is just off. There isn't that one character that just steals scenes and that you love to watch. I think Nucky's right hand man could be that guy (Mr. Sleater) but the show doesn't seem to interested in pushing him. The stuff with Capone in Chicago and Rothstein in New York just feels forced. It seems like they know it's part of the story, but they are giving the wrong amount - it's almost as if it's contractual they have to give each actor 4 minutes of screen time so the cut ins and outs makes the show feel a bit disjointed.
As such - we weren't in the mood for it last night so we started "Chuck" which seems pretty decent after the pilot. Could go either way - but, it survived for 5 seasons and was relatively well received - so i'm optimistic.

Recently started watching AHS: Coven on Netflix and so far my favorite of the three. It just feels so different than Murder House or Asylum.
