recommend me a pinball game

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Yes - this is a fantastic game. Far better than the new Devil's Crush, and you can probably find it for under $20.
Agreed

This game is so great. My favorite part (other than the pinball) is the ultimate 80s ambiance of the game. It looks like a dicey smoke filled parlor and sounds like a cheesy metal band. Just great.

I love sonic, but Spinball always aggravated me as a kid. ^_^

Sonic Spinball was great until the fourth table. There were two lanes that were a pain in the ass to hit, and they were required to get two of the emeralds. And table 2's need to bounce of the clucks was annoying, but if you paid attention you only had to do it once.

It was prolly a poor choice to be playing 2 player then. My friends and I had a blast until those clucks, and the monotone emeralds kinda bothered me.

The bosses were a blast though :o

Visual Pinball
Then grab Attack From Mars (or any of the hundreds of other good remakes of real pinball machines)
If you've got dosbox, Epic Pinball is still fun.

Oh, man, a topic close to my heart. I wrote a top ten a while back (which was pretty sloppy, in retrospect), and I've got another article in the pipeline where I'll be covering a crapload more. Necronomicon for the Saturn is my top pick on the aforementioned list, but I feel Pinball Hall of Fame: Williams Collection has usurped that title. I also recommend you check out Pinball FX if you have a 360 (it's a Live Arcade DL). The new Street Fighter II table is particularly great.

How did this thread go for so long with no one mentioning Epic Pinball? That was amazing back in 1993.
