The one with Burt Reynolds and the kid? I've seen it. I now occasionally like to go into bars and order milk. In a dirty glass.Luke wrote:You SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO need to watch A COP AND A HALF.
What was the last movie you've seen?

I've seen way too many movies in the past few weeks on El Rey Network, I wouldn't have the time to write something down about each one. It started with the wonderful Shaw movies that I grew up with, then they had many others like The Thing, Cujo, Darkman, and all the Godzilla movies I saw on the July 4th weekend. All uncut with full credits sequences and glorious. It's been a good month.

TURNER & HOOCH is also a fairly silly movie with a lot of heart. ONE & A HALF COPS is just a silly movie with no brain. It's still fun to watch though.
Love buddy-cop movies. At least the majority of them.
Anyone remember the Lethal Weapon movie where the evil antagonist threatens to kill people if Mel can't solve a math equation? It's one of the silliest movie sequences that I barely remember. The bad guy asks something like "If I have two quarts of milk but need a gallon of orange juice, how many cups of cream will weigh the same?".
Well, the riddle is nothing like my example, but I do remember being just as dumb. I also think Mel wears a sign that reads "I hate niggers", which in hindsight...

Are you thinking of Bruce Willis in Die Hard 3 ?Luke wrote:I also think Mel wears a sign that reads "I hate niggers", which in hindsight...

Oh man, Turner & Hootch. Still a better idea than Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot.
I actually re-watched Lethal Weapon 2 and 4 over the weekend but don't remember a math problem.
Also, this is one of my favorite buddy cop films:

So awesome. If any of you guys haven't seen it...go see it now. Run, don't walk.

That was Die Hard with a Vengeance.Luke wrote:I also think Mel wears a sign that reads "I hate niggers", which in hindsight...

And the problem was you have a three gallon jug and a five gallon jug, fill one of them with exactly four gallons.

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
You fill the five gallon drum first, empty it into the three gallon jug so you have exactly two gallons left. Empty the three gallon jug, and then put the two remaining gallons from the five gallon jug into the three gallon jug. Fill the five gallon jug, and then use that water to fill the rest of the three gallon jug. You should now have four gallons in the five gallon jug.MrPopo wrote:And the problem was you have a three gallon jug and a five gallon jug, fill one of them with exactly four gallons.

Artist or not, Sly's still got titanium balls.

My movies are meshing.
Sounds like it was Die Hard 3, but for some reason I also remember Joe Pesci being in it. Perhaps my brain created a Die Hard/Lethal Weapon crossover (something I would watch).

I remember it being more complex than third grade fractions, but again...my brain seems to remember movies the way it wants to and not the way they were. Like that movie where Natalie Portman is a sex crazed robot hell bent on solving America's obesity problem by the use of extravagant naked aerobatics.MrPopo wrote:And the problem was you have a three gallon jug and a five gallon jug, fill one of them with exactly four gallons.

That is one hell of an Episode 1 interpretation you have there.Luke wrote:I remember it being more complex than third grade fractions, but again...my brain seems to remember movies the way it wants to and not the way they were. So...thoughts on Superman v Batman? Suicide Squad? Deadpool?
