Nintendo Handheld Gaming Thread (Game Boy to DS)
Re: Nintendo Handheld Gaming Thread (Game Boy to DS)
As far as launch lineups go, the Dreamcast had a splendid set of games. But yeah, the GBA had a good set, too. Honestly, just the presence of CotM is enough to make it worthy of consideration.

Re: Nintendo Handheld Gaming Thread (Game Boy to DS)
Going back to that DS Flash Cart discussion from earlier in the thread I found a site selling R4i Gold DS and 3DS for $9 and $35 each but you need to order a minimum of 10 of whichever you want. I'm not sure how much shipping was on this. Anyone interested in potentially doing a group buy? I also saw one called the Sky or something like that but it was extremely expensive. Another site has them as well but they are more expensive.

If you can handle $18 for an R4i Gold, this is supposed to be a reputable dealer:jmbarnes101 wrote:Going back to that DS Flash Cart discussion from earlier in the thread I found a site selling R4i Gold DS and 3DS for $9 and $35 each but you need to order a minimum of 10 of whichever you want.

You might pull off a group buy, there's plenty of DS fans still around. I got out of it, just kept FF3 for the sake of it.
Personally I'd love to find a US based reputable dealer of the new ez-flash iv devices that use the micro sd instead of the mini sd cards, have a better shell and are just overall more stable (larger guts inside too for storage off card if I recall as well.) I know one location of it currently but it's on aliexpress which is overseas but the price is good.

And in other old gameboy news, over the weekend I found both HAL Wrestling (makers of it created FirePro) and Super RC Proam for $3/ea in a dust clip too. Plus I have another wave of goodies that should hopefully show up soon. Kirby's Block Ball is outstanding, dude is not listing it shipped >:\ ...but the new, I won a bundle of 3 off one guy (Gargoyles Quest, Ninja Gaiden Shadow, and Mega Man 2 -- NG I also got just for $18 which was dumb luck), and another bundle I jsut bought for Blaster Master Blasting Again for GBC for $5 which has a rugrats game and kirby pinball land I already own so those I'll trade/sell to break even. I'm working on a bundle of 2 games from Japan too, old games I used to have yamatoku-classic is selling and I nailed one down, waiting on the other before bundling.

thats the exact same card I use, and it works on every model of DS and 3DS, even on my New Nintendo 3DS with the very latest firmware. So it is pretty safe to say that it will always work from now on.Exhuminator wrote:If you can handle $18 for an R4i Gold, this is supposed to be a reputable dealer:jmbarnes101 wrote:Going back to that DS Flash Cart discussion from earlier in the thread I found a site selling R4i Gold DS and 3DS for $9 and $35 each but you need to order a minimum of 10 of whichever you want.

Re: Nintendo Handheld Gaming Thread (Game Boy to DS)
It appears to offer free shipping as well so maybe that's what I'll go with, $18 shipped is not a bad deal at all.

Not only is the shipping free but it ships from within the USA even. So no waiting weeks on end for a slow boated card from China. Just do yourself a favor and get a quality micro SD card like a legit Kingston or Sandisk, and you should be good to go.jmbarnes101 wrote:It appears to offer free shipping as well so maybe that's what I'll go with, $18 shipped is not a bad deal at all.

I unlocked nearly everything on both Brain Age 1 & 2.
Also Clubhouse Games continues to get better. Encountered a strategy game called Hasami Shogi and a new card game called President. Great stuff.

I scored good locally today, 5 DS games for under $20!
So excited to finally have Warioware Touched.

I really love the Nanostray games. I used to have that Space Invaders and it was pretty fun. Check out the Space Invaders Extreme games if you don't already have them. They're phenomenal. The second one may be in my top 10 for DS games.ExedExes wrote:I scored good locally today, 5 DS games for under $20!
