Yeah, I even reviewed it. I thought it was good, but not great (I gave the campaign an A). There are a lot of great fan missions, though, right now I'm replaying one, actually.

Glad you're a fan of the series. If you haven't played it yet, Thief 3 is actually pretty good (on PC anyway). I'd give it an 8/10. And that's coming from someone who thinks Thief: The Dark Project is the greatest game of all time.

I haven't played Thief (2014) yet, so no opinion there.

I actually haven't played The Dark Project. I know, I know, but I want to play other games first lest I not finish them.

Also, Haunts are too scary for me

Thief: Deadly Shadows is not bad, it was the first game of the series I actually played because my cousin had the demo. It's a huge step backwards, consolization really hit the level design hard, but it's still Thief so it's not bad.

Thief 2014 is...not Thief. It's a worse-than-average blockbuster with the license. Most people I know that played both hated it, though a couple people I know liked it.

On the real, the first Thief is the scariest game I've ever played. There was one level in it (The Haunted Cathedral) that I had to stop playing at night and continue on in the day time. You should play the Gold version of it man. At least you've saved the best for last.
