Yeah, like I said, my friends would wanna play Battle Monsters, knowing full and well how bad it is, just because it is hilariously awful. Just think that such trite was actually greenlighted by a company head. Someone said, "Yeah. That's good enough. Speaking of which, Planet Joker is a shmup I want on the Saturn. Why? Because it was developed by the same team that made Battle Monsters! They made an awful shmup and an awful fighter; they just need to make an awful RPG and the picture will be complete.
