That's what it means. I feel like they were going to do that anyway but they ran out of ideas for stretch goals.

I hope the Wii U port gets a physical release too. I'd jump on that.

Mighty No. 9 just discovered it's not as easy to port to the 3DS as they thought meaning the 3DS game won't be able to be released simultaneously with the other versions. It might just be a case of not wanting to make too many promises right away.

People are definitely going to be requesting it so I won't be surprised if it shows up as one of the next stretch goals.
Well the outcry better increase now that they made a basement and shoved the weak WiiU in there at the $3M mark. If they don't do one now I'd be completely shocked. I'd be half tempted to break my rule and pony up for it if it got me a physical 3DS release.

I hope the Wii U version gets a physical release. That would get me to back right now.

I suspect a 3DS version isn't going to happen. There's a pretty sizable power disparity between the Wii U and the 3DS, and even the New 3DS. I'd love to be wrong, though!

Yes, I'll echo Sarge, a Wii U Port is Day 1 backing.

I think the really awesome thing is how high the average backer donation is. $28 for a digital copy, $60 for a physical, and the campaign started with an average of $72-75, and it's only climbed as the campaign has gone on; right now it's at $80. Usually you see the average donation somewhere between "get the game" and "get a cool box with stuff".

Latest update announced a DRM-free version and now I'm thinking I'll probably back the project.

But I'm a little confused at to how a GOG release can be on a disc. Isn't that... not how they work? OH WELL! Knowing I'll be able to play without a Steam account makes me happy.

GOG releases are just DRM free installers, you can put them on a disk yourself if you want. I imagine it's going to come with a code to add it to your GOG account as well but it would still play even without adding it to your account.
