Well, the film was sped up... or at least, I hope it was sped up to around 1.25x speed, because seriously, things were making zero sense. For those that have seen the film, I am going to ask some questions in spoiler tags here to see if you saw or experienced the same thing as I did.
In the opening sequence with Max being captured and his attempt at escaping, was that sequence moving a LOT faster than the trailer's portrayal of it? In the scene where max is trying to file off the muzzle, was his hand a blur moving incredibly fast? Could you understand what anyone said during the film?
I seriously felt like in the action sequences that things were going so fast to the point where it made no sense. You would see something zoom up to the camera and then explode and you were left scratching your head. I complained at the ticket office and wanted a refund, but they said it was at the normal speed and wouldn't give me a refund. I thought I was going crazy. I was seeing the pennants on all the cars going insanely fast, even when motionless, saw the clouds and sand just going ballistic in moments where they shouldn't have, saw the slow motion scenes as moving almost at a normal speed. If it was supposed to be like that...whatever.
Yeah it was supposed to be like that. From what I've read George Miller would drop the frame rate below the usual 24fps at certain points to make the action seem more sketchy or intense. About 50% of the film was altered in that way. I thought it was done as visual clue to Max's jittery state of mind (along with the more unsubtle ghosts that haunt him) but apparently I read too much into it.
It was like that the entire time though. It never stopped even during the slower scenes. Didn't like it.
I think you need to get back to the nursing home

I think they did that during the action scenes in Kingsman The Secret Service too. It's just what some movies do now. I like it, when it fits a particular movie's style.

That's the thing! It wasn't the stylized change in motion popularized in films like the matrix or the 300. If was just a stand alone 1.25x speed with people talking the speed of light with no breaks in conversation As if they were all on cocaine. It wasn't normal and it was really really weird.

It wasn't meant to feel Snyder-ish. The intent was to make you leave the theater shaking. And yes, sometimes it almost would make sense for the characters to sound like the chipmunks at the speed it was going, but again, that is what they were going for.

I thought it was used perfectly. Other movies, say the Romeo and Juliet with Daines an Leo and Moulin Rogue made me want to leave the theater in minutes. One reason for that is that the camera doesn't cut away every three seconds in FURY.

I really feel like what I experienced was different then how everyone is describing it. It wasn't just a small increase in speed or a stylized choice. We are talking everything in a truly unnatural way. Not just a, "we are doing this intentionally "

I don't know what to tell you really. Everything in a film is done intentionally and with this particular film even more care was taken with regards editing and frame rates to produce certain effects or heighten audience response during scenes. George Miller did similar things in previous Mad Max's so it's kind of technique he likes to employ. I can assure you though while the whole thing wasn't sped up but at least half of it was. Sorry you didn't enjoy it because of that, because it is a really terrific movie.

Yeah I think someone was messing with something in the booth or something. I knew to expect some crazy stuff, but when I couldn't understand anyone and everyone walked casually in a super sped up way like in a silent film, things were awry. I will have to see it again when it comes out on blu fay and see if I was crazy or not

We had a theater leave a movie on fast forward once accidentally. They sped through the first quarter of the movie on accident, but then went back to the begging once they realized what had happened. Was a real pain since it spoiled a few scenes :P.

Biggest problem I've ever run into was I was in a theater during a power outage once. The Projectors had backup power but the sound system didn't  . Instead of just refunding they had us wait 30 minutes while the power came back :P .

Most theaters have a strict "no refund" policy. I've been to theaters that showed the wrong movie for about a half hour, one theater just showed the windows boot screen for at least twenty minutes, and one theater that had nearly a hundred gummy bears stuck to the screen.

Please don't lick gummy bears and throw them at the screen.

I'll get the negatives out of the way first (mild spoilers ahead)...

So, this movie seems geared towards teens. It's got too much violence, sex, and language for kids. However, the movie tries so hard to be edgy and cool with its use of language just for the sake of it, and loud abrasive, dub step music in lieu of a more traditional Batman film score that it sometimes comes off as too obnoxious for an adult audience that will likely be rolling their eyes. This is a movie that's trying too hard, and for maybe the first half of the movie I was struggling to get through it. Also, the parts of the movie where the squad is actually getting themselves inside Arkham are pretty boring.

However, the movie really picks up in the second half. Once Joker shows up, he starts to really add a lot to the movie. He marks a turning point in the movie for the better. Harley also goes from being a rather annoying character to being much more fun and interesting once she starts interacting with Mr J. Harley really doesn't work well as a character when she's not paired up with Joker. Also, the action and chaos ramps up quite a bit in the second half of the movie as all hell breaks loose and that's when things really get fun as this is the point in the movie where it starts to live up to its name.

Other positives:

Batman and Deadshot are total badasses in this movie. This is a great film for any Deadshot fan. I'd even go so far as to say this is pretty much his movie. Batman's opening action sequence is off the chain.

A few surprising deaths in the movie, it has that Game of Thrones style, anyone can die approach which is refreshing. I guess a movie about the SUICIDE squad has to live up to the name

The voice cast is good, some familiar voices like Kevin Conroy.

Again, Joker. He's AWESOME in this movie. And his scenes with Deadshot....good stuff.

A few funny lines:
Cops telling Poison Ivy, "STOP!!" followed by a meek, "please"

Deadshot (who Harley has slept with) and Joker (her ex) fighting each other when Joker nonchalantly says to Deadshot, "you know she's going to kill us both right?"
The movie has enough positives to be worth seeing and it finishes strong, which should always be your primary goal in a movie. I still think the movie would have been served better by not trying so damned hard to be cool and edgy. The music sounds out of place in some parts of the movie and hearing Amanda Waller call someone a punk and someone else a mother fucker just makes me do this:

You want to see Waller done right, watch Justice League Unlimited or Arrow.

It! The Terror from Beyond Space

An unintentionally funny sucifi film from the 1950s, but still remains highly watchable, and the influence on Alien is qite obvious. Oh, and here is another supporting female character who changes her emotional allegiances for no apparent reason

A Field in England

A weird little film that was made on a shoestring budget from the looks of it, but sports a good cast and a story that although doesn't gel together in its segments, can be appreciated as symbolism for broader conceptions.
