Most of this flew over my head but it was cool all the same so thanks for posting. OutRun is one of my favourite games so this technique will always have a place in my heart.

I enjoyed it, I would have liked to see them address Crash 'N Burn on the 3DO. If I recall correctly it "cheated" by using some previously rendered portions. It had faults for sure, but it did do a pretty good job of conveying speed and the different methods used would have been interesting for comparison, I think.
