Kurt's music choices are always spot on and so well done. Coal War to start season 4 I thought couldn't be topped. But, Come Join the Murder for that last scene was just beyond brilliance.
Not poking you nor am I trying to be a dork, but the last season was dumb.
The show went from making you think to telling you what to think. Very blatantly at that. No doubt the music has always been choice, but I found the entire setup of the last episode to be very, very, very dumb. The show had been so great and then it left with a thud. And I'm speaking of the "thud", it just dragged on with what we knew was coming.
Finales are fickle and usually polarizing. But (arguable) they demand a finale. Some resolution. SOA's finale was fifteen minutes of what we knew was coming. For such a great show...man, the entire last season was poor.
And the bread and wine thing? Can they cram that more down your throat? No cops around a judicial building? Sloppy writing. CGI crows? From a show that showed so much grit? They missed some great opportunities.
As a whole the series is excellent. Last season was poop.
Watched Justice League, animated. I made it three shows in before I had to turn it off. It is made for kids, and is better off just for kids.
