No details. Seems to be coming in July (AMD boss let slip during an investor call). Windows 8/8.1 will probably have it as a Store upgrade like how the 8.1 upgrade was applied. Windows 7 might have you download an ISO. One thing is that even non-Genuine Windows can upgrade to 10 (but it will now be a non-Genuine 10), so it's likely that it'll use your existing key, and in the backend if you activate the key on Windows 10 within the year then it stays Genuine, while if you do it after a year it becomes non-Genuine with a purchase option to become Genuine.

thanks to my wife, I got a couple of upgrades over the weekend. Besides the new gaming desk, I now have a blu-ray drive in my PC (obviously this isn't for gaming, but means I can watch BR in my game room now on my TV) and even more awesome, I now have a Logitech G502 mouse. Oh man is this comfortable!

made the decision to upgrade my CPU and GPU. I'm listing minor odds and ends on ebay to pay for an i5 4460 and a EVGA 970 4gb graphics card. Have raised about 25% of my goal within the past few days and anxious to reach it. I need it to handle a very heavily modded Skyrim and Dragon Age Inquisition.

Funny, I've got another 8 GB double my RAM coming in the mail as well; I ordered on Friday.

Also funny, I was getting ready to pull the trigger on doubling my desktop's RAM from 6 to 12GB (I have triple channel).

Noise,

are you pretty happy with your Zotac 970? I'm currently deciding between EVGA and MSI but never considered Zotac. Any reason you chose yours over other brands?

I love it.

I was between the MSI and the Zotac myself, but went with the Zotac honestly because it was the one that came in stock first, haha.

I purposely avoided the EVGA because I had read several reviews that mentioned it having some noisy coil whine.

If it matters to you, the Zotac is the smallest footprint of the 970's.
