You and me both, buddy....:(

Anyways.. I HATE it when I want to buy video game stuff that I want just because it'll be cool to have.

Right now, I have my eye on the JP Dragon Quest 3DS that's covered in slimes, currently priced at about $200. I have no intention of playing any JP 3DS games, I just think it'd be cool to play the DQ DS games on a DQ DS. :D

The ever elusive hot bartender gal. Like moth to a flame we are.

"Is she laughing at my joke, or laughing at me?"

"She just winked at me. But is she flirting, or does she wink at everyone?"

"When she walked past me she briefly put her hand on my shoulder. That's got to be flirting right?"

A cute bartender is the original kyrptonite. Only one way to handle this situation: ask her out. Preferably ask her what time she's off the clock, and take her out for coffee/a movie/a milkshake/ whatever she has mentioned she likes. Best of luck.

About feminists , why do they exist? Its not the 1800s. AFAIK porn, some drugs, gambling, gay marriage, whatever religion you want to follow is all open and legal. So what are current day feminists trying to achieve?

Be honest, is there discrimination against women at work in USA? I don't believe it except for the "glass ceiling" which I believe its the women's fault in the first place because most women will just choose not to get too involved in some profession and dedicate her life to the job.

The pool to pick from is smaller for top jobs like CEO compared to lower entry jobs like a secretary or a teacher.

Almost like we're all individuals with unique opinions! Shocking revelation, I know!
I am confused because of this:

Objectifying of women= Bad/lawsuit/hated
Objectifying of women by their own choice= Good/freedom/democracy

So if I am a business, I hire a model that will do an ad objectifying women, I am sexist business that will be boycotted but the model is a free independent woman that should be encouraged?

There are still issues. Perhaps, though, the progress that has been made owes a little bit of credit to the people who where willing to fight for it? If they didn't continue to fight for it, maybe we would see regression?

Some of it is not about equal opportunity, and that bit I don't agree with. Those who just want a fair and unbiased way of life should have their say though. I see no point in protesting it.

This is speculative and the opposing views only go to prove what lisalover was saying...not contradict it.

There is ongoing debate and discussion concerning female representation in certain fields such as engineering or programming, gender pay gaps, women in business or political leadership roles, issues concerning abuse, sexual harassment, or other crimes regarding sex and violence directed at women, women's health issues, female sexuality, issues related to childbearing, so on and so forth.

The truth is that there is a lot to debate and discuss, even when major milestones have been put into law. There is a need to debate and discuss the effectiveness of laws and societal change, historical review of legal and social impact, consider problems that are only beginning to take shape due to new and shifting technology, etc.

In short, feminism is not dead, nor does it need to be. There is a lot to discuss, critique, analyze, debate, review, and more.

Feminism is mostly about wanting attention. Reminds me of the gay pride parade in an episode of the Simpsons where Lisa responds to "We're here we're queer, get used to it!" with ""We are used to it!".

I'll try to do one of my favorite stand up comedians justice, but I can't type her joke word for word. But here goes.

"The fact of the matter is that everyone, male or female, wants to be admired. We crave others looking at us as objects of desire.

I teach middle school and found a floating Top 10 list written by the male students. The list kept passing hands and the guys would write down the top ten hottest girls in school...which included teachers.

My name held the umber three spot. I shouldn't have been angry, but I wanted to ask the boys if they were fucking kidding me. I'm two spots down from a girl with an A cup and another girl that has a blue retainer?"

Trust me, it is hilarious when she tells it.

My random thought is "I don't like nosey people". More specifically, co-workers who are nosey. "How's it going?" is a dandy of a question. "How are things with you and your wife?" is weird. Water cooler talk needs rules. Gossip is bound to make an appearance from time to time, but it's better to stick to three topics: Actual work, sports, and food. Maybe also throw in "my kid did the cutest thing the other day".

I have and it makes me cringe every year. I have always had a poor relationship with my parents but I always follow through with cards and whatnot out of obligation and because it's "the right thing to do."

Sorry for the Debbie Downer.
