The DS is probably the biggest victim of this. Back in the day, I wanted like 20 games for it. Right now I want the Ouendan games and that's pretty much it.
And yeah, I have very little interest in
Fallout 3,
Arkham Asylum or
Mass Effect. I've particularly grown to distate
Fallout 3 more and more with time and regret putting the time to beat it back in the day

I feel entirely the same about these things. When it comes to the stuff like the PS3 as much as I love it, and despite owning just physical games, thanks to the halfassed nature of how they're all made anymore I got rid of what I had when I got a PS4. The reasoning there is that none of the games that come out anymore work right when they're released, everything gets some patch to tear down some bad bugs or some broken mechanics that need proper tuning. I have no interest in holding onto a few PS3 games I really adore, but maybe (likely) have it fail in a decade and then not be able to re-patch the games so they still work right. I don't have to do that with pre-internet/hard drive crutched systems from the 80s, 90s, and some of the 00s. Even when it comes down to the DS and 3DS almost all the games get no patches, they work, since Nintendo has a pretty big stick in its ass about allowing unfinished stuff to come out.
Then again the DS I said I agree with too, the games just feel disposable, non-memorable for the most part, and the quality of them visually just isn't there much like with the N64 where it's like the atari 2600 of that form of media and is just too meh to stand up to following generations.
I'll say this much given the budget pricing I have seen Sony play with on re-package deals if they decide to throw a 4 game package of Uncharted out there I'm buying it day one as I want to do those again and I never did get much time on the Vita game so it's worth that alone. I'd love to play Dragon's Crown again too and a few others.
