Mission 3 completed on GWAR.

The first half of the mission wasn't too bad, but when you had to go find those ADATs was when it all went downhill quickly. I tried a few by myself and then with the team, but ultimately we prevailed, because the "hold position" objective wasn't too bad.

I also answered my own question on what happens when you lose a team member; I had lost one with about a minute to go before the mission ended, so I continued forward. The game had enough mercy to resurrect the fallen member next mission, so with this knowledge moving forward, I may be able to complete the game faster not having to worry about being short a team member. That, and also equipping sniper rifles for everyone seems to be more effective.

I will also be trying out the 2 regular GR expansion packs I have.

Good job man! You've only got eight more missions to go now.

I noticed that too. The friendly AI make much better point sentries than assault teams.

I still need to go back and play the original Ghost Recon. I've got it on Xbox and PC (GOG). PC's probably best.

I've never played Blood(though I've beaten the sequel...I don't recommend it), and I've only played through the first level of Shadow Warrior. I have a tough time going back to Build engine games because the controls are in that pseudo-WASD state that I find tough to deal with, but there is an updated version of Shadow Warrior that I keep meaning to pick up and play. The Megaton release for Duke Nukem 3D was perfect when I gave it a run a year or so ago.

I've been putting it off long enough, so it's time I try my hand at one of the Quake II Mission Packs. I'm gonna give The Reckoning a go.

Blood is stupid hard. No source port either, so prepare for running like dogshit on modern PCs unless you just happen to love framedrops while running at 640x480.

Haha, that is exactly why I haven't played it yet! I'll get to it eventually, but...ugh.

The GOG version is what I have. It runs, just not up to a certain standard.

Have you tried playing Blood in DOSbox and cranking the cycles into the stratosphere?

Thought Shellschok Nam 67 was a FPS but it's actually TPS :P. Played around 2 hours and it's pretty janky so I'm going to move onto 2 which is a FPS.

The GOG version runs in DOSbox. I played around with the cycles in the config to no avail. It just seems to run like crap at anything over 640x480 and even slows down sometimes at that res.
