OK, so this is a cropped, windowed shot in *shudders* 16:9, but just look at the lighting.
The DX11 Beta just went live. Each table has a brightness slider for ambient light, which really gives you that hypnotic glow we all love. In this shot ^ I've got it cranked all the way down. Looks great, imo. So yeah, no stable portrait mode...among other quirks (it is beta) but this is the start of something great.

I never would have thought that one of the best uses for graphical realism would be pinball, but that looks fantastic.
