EDIT: At least half of this statement is obviously false, but you should believe all of it for another few months so that you are, at worst, not terribly disappointed and, at best, very pleasantly surprised when you finally see the movie.
What was the last movie you've seen?

So that you none of you get your hopes up too high, I am just going to say (1) that I have already seen the new Star Wars film in its entirety and (2) that it is even worse that Episode II .

I'm trying to be nice! At worst, you won't be horribly let down when you see the new movie, and at best, you will be very pleasantly surprised.Ack wrote:I am just going to say (1) you're a jerk and (2) you're a jerk.prfsnl_gmr wrote:So that you none of you get your hopes up too high, I am just going to say (1) that I have already seen the new Star Wars film in its entirety and (2) that it is even worse that Episode II .

I vote we start a sub forum for the Decipher Star Wars CCG, and revive the card game series for all of us to enjoy once more. I was too young to really understand it, but maybe we can get some people out of the woodwork and get behind a kickstarter for a new card game!

I don't know anything about the CCG, but I am excited for Battlefront.
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
as long as the new SW movie includes the things featured in its trailers, it is already better than any of the prequels.

Man, that game was even more complicated than Magic. It had a lot of neat concepts, but balance was not Decipher's strong suit.Blu wrote:I vote we start a sub forum for the Decipher Star Wars CCG, and revive the card game series for all of us to enjoy once more. Hey! Episode III was solid! (At least...it was better than Return of the Jedi...I will not make any effort to defend Episode I or Episode II...)dsheinem wrote:as long as the new SW movie includes the things featured in its trailers, it is already better than any of the prequels.

I was in Middle School at the time and loved collecting the cards, but I'll be damned if I had any idea what the rules exactly meant.
I did love going after the starships though.
Bring on Battlefront! Some month of Together Retro needs to have Star Wars in it! January 2015?!
