Dsh just doesn't like fun. He likes discussing the merits of trivial things while drinking supposedly high class but horrible tasting alcohols. And he doesn't even get the cool bump for smoking a cigar at the same time.

People think Dsh is a curmudgeon, a cynic, and a malcontent who doesn't like fun, but really he's a nice guy who just gets in food comas after eating pasta, gets cranky, and needs a nap.

My gut instincts told me dsheinem wouldn't like The Raid movies given his peculiar tastes.

However, it's probably worth mentioning that when I saw the first Raid movie, I DID think it was overrated by people like Luke. However, I did actually ENJOY watching it, which I don't think dsheinem did.

The Raid 2 on the other hand, that blew me away, totally lived up to not just its own hype, but the amount of hype that the first movie didn't live up to.

Much of my praise for The Raid series is due to the second movie. However, because of a key scene in The Raid 2 that ties directly back to the first movie, I generally tell people to watch both.

I don't know if I agree with Ack about The Raid 2 being the greatest action movie I've ever seen...but it's certainly in the conversation. You could certainly argue a good case for The Raid 2 being to martial arts movies what Terminator 2 is to Hollywood special effects blockbusters

I like FULL HOUSE and would say it is one of the best sitcoms of all time.

I love RAID and would say it is one of the best action movies of all time.

I love dumb stuff that tries to be "smart", but at the same time doesn't and plays the audience.

Like GONE GIRL. It's terribly terrific.
