Yeah it's usb based. I picked one up to try out with Animal Crossing City Folk but never got it setup due to the missing code insert  . CS was a real pain in the ass and after playing email pass for about a week I just said "F$#% it". It's like seriously it's a microphone why the hell not just make the app available to the public especially since I was trying to activate it right before they dropped support completely. It's not like the Wii microphone market was booming so much that a third party would waste time hijacking the app for use with their own hardware.

That's Nintendo for you though it's like they were/are scared shitless by online interactions.

Oh that's no surprise and they don't like staying up to date either. Remember their USB stick for WiFi play during the DSi period? They made this little stick to work as a wifi router out of your computer but the software wasn't good in the first place, and it was so pissy it only would work on XP and I think they left Apple people just screwed. Once Vista and 7 32/64bit rolled around it was useless and so was their little device which on its own would have been useful. Nintendo just supports for the right then and now, they don't care about later, never have.

These gamestop company have good evil scheme.

Why Not I think of that?

I see convincing rip off of consumers moneys.

But to change subject, I like when my minions get their game from store.

Have to buy thirty copies, otherwise they all fight over game.

But to see excitement in their yellow faces when I get home, make it worth while!

Is Gamestop Evil? Nope.

Are some of their employees assholes? Yes.

I had an encounter for the books today and I will be raising some hellfire tomorrow. Not at the manager that I know and am friends with, but with the clerk who treated me like Brenda Walsh when I asked to speak with the store's manager.

And I didn't ask "Can I speak with the store manager?" Nope. I asked to speak with Ted, the store manager. Politely at that.

"What is the basis of your discussion?" I was asked that.

Boy I can't wait to meet this guy tomorrow.

Seems like a perfectly reasonable response if they've had a number of people showing up trying to sell them something or whatnot. 'course, it would also depend on how they said it.

I'll elaborate.

My birthday is coming up soon, and my wife was on the way to my local GS and I wanted to make sure the game I wanted was cib. I also wanted to let Ted (manager) know she would be stopping by and to peddle her as many cib 360 games that he liked. Because I like games and I like to give him as much business as possible.

There is a "Reserved for Luke" shelf in the store, and albeit a very small shelf even the guys who act like assholes are doing so in jest. Well, usually. It's usually fun ribbing with a tad of attitude. aka see disj and I have a conversation on this forum. No one means any hurt, and although some thoughts come off as strong and even hurtful, there is no intent other than giving a verbal kidney punch. No disrespect is made nor intended.

This fucking kid. The conversation in entirety went:

"Hey duder, my wife is doing some Birthday shopping for me, and I asked her for Watch Dogs, 360, cib"

-I have no clue what you are talking about.

"Watch Dogs on the 360, cib. Could you place it in the left cabinet?"

-I have no clue what you are talking about.

"Watch dogs on the xbox 360, with the original box and instructions. Even if it isn't an instruction booklet, I'd like to have the game complete as it was if it was brand new.

-We don't hold games.

"Do you have the game with the original box and inserts?

-I don't know.

"Can I talk to...Dave..I mean Ted. The manager.

-No one here is named dave *laughs* Ted is busy.

"Can you please tell him Luke is on the line? My wife will be there soon."

-What is the basis of your discussion?

And trust me, Ted knows me well and this dude was a complete poopyface. And to add to his poopyface when I asked him "Will Ted be in tomorrow?" he answered "That depends".

Didn't give him the joy of answering him, but he did say "depends if you come to the store before or after twelve pm".

Well...I called Ted, and the douche I talked to who goes by, no shit, "Vincent Price" will be there tomorrow morning. Ted told me to "make your dissatisfaction of customer care known".

Meaning I'll file a complaint with GS corporate offices :)

Just to let you know employees are trained to ask questions like that when a customer wants to speak to a manager, whether or not they know your name. If my employees didn't let me know who was calling/asking for me or for what reason they would be calling, they would be reprimanded. Usually they would say "may I ask what it is in regards to?". They also train not to let people know if the store mananger is there or not.

I don't see anything wrong with any of Vincent's responses to you. Certainly nothing that constitutes "asshole" status.
