Re: Share some of your best gaming screen shots
Really want to take screenies of Shadow Warrior, but there's no screenshot key (I got it via GOG, not Steam).

Can't do the old fashioned, "Print Screen," and Paste into Paint?marurun wrote:Really want to take screenies of Shadow Warrior, but there's no screenshot key (I got it via GOG, not Steam).

I tend to have bad luck alt+tabbing out of and back into Unreal Engine games. I may have to get a 3rd party proggie.

Quoting for new page... this looks awesome! Never played them, but these games and The Longest Journey have always interested me.BogusMeatFactory wrote:Been playing a bunch of the second chapter of Dreamfall Chapters which came out earlier in March. Absolutely loving it and it is leagues longer and more engaging than the first, if only because, you are starting to see the repercussions of your decisions. Here are some screenshots!

Re: Share some of your best gaming screen shots
I highly recommend them if you are interested in a very engaging and well thought out story. The Longest Journey itself is around a 17 hour game experience when you know what is going on, which is enormous for an adventure game which normally round out to be just a few hours. What makes this series so special is how much of the story was actually planned from the beginning.
Not to spoil anything, but there is a character you meet early on who is a race of people that exist on all planes of space and time simultaneously and reference what will happen. These things will make zero sense to you as a player and find it to be abstract words and information, but lo and behold 15 years later, his words hold meaning and are absolutely pertinent to the plot of Dreamfall Chapters.
Sure the Longest Journey has some really obtuse puzzles, which I beg people to forgive... and sure, Dreamfall has a clunky combat system tacked on, which I again beg people to forgive, but Dreamfall Chapters is really the pinnacle. It takes the TellTale Games style of Adventure game and mixes it with the complex and masterful storytelling that really makes you think. Characters are alive and there is a sense of atmosphere that is gripping. Give these games a shot and you will not be disappointed, but I urge you to take your time, enjoy the dialog and just spend the time to get engrossed in the world.

Use the "add a non-steam game to my library" feature. Launch the game in Steam and you should be able to still use the screenshot feature, unless it is a DOSBox game.marurun wrote:Really want to take screenies of Shadow Warrior, but there's no screenshot key (I got it via GOG, not Steam).
