So what have you guys been watching lately?

Isn't that the show with Dr. Phil's protégés (or was it Oprah?). Figures.

Yeah it has Dr Oz, or as a large number of people seem to refer to him, God.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!

That was a fun show, hated the series finale though. It kind of unraveled everything that had been built up over the season, really disappointing

The Walking Dead was REALLY good this week, better in some ways than it's been in a very long time

Better Call Saul has settled into a groove for me now. I enjoy it. Solid episode this week. It's not Breaking Bad...but that's okay.

The Flash was good...except
Can we kill off Iris? She's such a bitch. Is this is another one of those shows with a terrible main character romance that I'm gonna be forced to tolerate for the whole series?
Looking forward to seeing the iZombie premiere

Watched iZombie last night and it's quite enjoyable. Has a lot of the same witty banter that Veronica Mars has and an interesting mix of a procedural crime drama and a find out what it means to be a zombie / hopefully find a cure type thing. I will definitely continue to watch!

Yeah, it was likeable, even if the general zombie theme doesn't excite me, nor does tying it back to solving crime...but fun to watch anyway. I've stuck with far worse (*cough*Lost Girl*cough*) for similar reasons.

Just watched I Zombie and WHOA...the Veronica Mars vibe is strong with this one. Same camera work, same first position exposition, same female lead with black best friend, same witty banter, detective but not actually a detective theme...Rob Thomas, say you're not just a one-trick pony, say it ain't so!

Although, the Veronica Mars fangirl in me says screw it, faux Veronica Mars is still better than no Veronica Mars. :) I'm interested to see how the zombie bit factors as the show progresses.

Yeah, I didn't even know it was from the same guy and I kept thinking, man this feels so much like Veronica Mars

Which reminds me I STILL haven't watched Veronica Mars' final season yet....or the movie for that matter. Need to get on that.

izombie was cool I thought. It's definitely different with its premise and I like some of the dialog. The cop character I can see getting annoying. He was borderline a few times, but I'm willing to give him a chance. The morgue guy is cool

The show also reminded me a little of this:

So I raved about Les Revenants on this thread once, and I just heard there's an American remake from Carlton Cuse that already started airing. I really need to see it. Apparently, mid way through the season they are going to take the story in a different direction than the original. I'm sure it'll be better than Resurrection, which I hear is not that good. So we've gone from this:

to this:
