So what have you guys been watching lately?

Think you meant Season 5 of justified. Season 6 is the season currently airing and is the final season.

Super underrated show. Best dialogue on tv.

I am watching Scandal on the sly. My wife has raved about it for years and I want to surprise her and catch up so we can start watching together. I am five episodes in and while it isn't yet great, it is generally ok to good. Do things generally improve/decline after Season 1?

Yeah, that's right - thanks. I agree, the banter is quick, witty, and fun. Walton Goggins is ace - as good here as he was in The Shield.

@Mitch; Rapaport is only in season 5 (wasn't in 1 through 4). He is a major player in the season though and is brilliant. Amy Smart, who we all like, is in this season as well.

Am I the only one who watches Steven Universe? Because I'm thinking that's probably my #1 all-time favorite TV show at this point. Really great stuff. Episodes range from goofy and silly to seriously poignant and meaningful. But it's consistently beautiful and positive in a rarely seen way. While there's a hefty amount of homage to other things, the show absolutely has a unique voice of its own. I LOVE IT AND IT'S AMAZING.

Well that's good news! I feared it would be one of those one-and-done shows.

I was nervous the whole season. To me this show was Freaks & Geeks level good. And shows like that tend to get canned and grow a cult following after the fact. But the ratings were great on this, thank goodness.
