I think I'll throw some liberty cabbage in there as well. Really get the freedom rolling.

It's not the "change of time" that makes me frown, it's the fact that the sun glares through my blinds at 5am.Hobie-wan wrote:Don't forget we silly Americans lost an hour this morning.
I have a new idea on how time should work, and it goes like this:
Guy #1: What time is it?
Guy #2: Now.

Having lived in both places where daylight savings is observed, and not observed, I think it really is just an unnecessary bother.Hobie-wan wrote:Don't forget we silly Americans lost an hour this morning.

I don't quite understand that part. Can't the farmers just get up an hour before the sun whatever arbitrary number we've decided to call that?Ack wrote:Yeah, but argue that against the agricultural lobby.BoringSupreez wrote:Having lived in both places where daylight savings is observed, and not observed, I think it really is just an unnecessary bother.Hobie-wan wrote:Don't forget we silly Americans lost an hour this morning.
The most annoying thing about DST is the fact that Arizona doesn't observe it. Now, I totally get and support their not wanting to deal with clock moving bullshit, but you need to get in sync with the rest of the country. Now I have to make sure my date checking routines account for the fact that my software might be running in Arizona so I don't get things off by an hour.
