Hobie, you should just get a PS4 or Xbox One.

I still don't understand the phrase "stuck at 60 Hz". It implies that 60 Hz is bad.

I'm very thankful I have only had limited exposure to 120hz because I would probably be one of those people whining about 60hz being too low.

I really want to play this but my current financial situation kinda limits me from buying $60 games these days.

Also, if this is based on Rage tech, I'm willing to bet my dollar it would run like shit on my PC for no reason. Rage HATES AMD cards and I just ordered an R9 270x. :?

Nvidia. I've had a couple ATI cards in the past but I've always been disappointed with them.

I barely touch my 360 or PS3 and I have no interest to play an FPS with a controller.

It isn't in and of itself. Certainly 60 FPS is nicer, but 30ish with occasional drops a little below that don't bother me as much as they do some people if the game is otherwise enjoyable and it doesn't cause an issue with game mechanics. Being hobbled if one's hardware is more capable for no good reason is annoying though.

"You have a PC with a word processor to write this paper? Sorry, 1950s portable typewriter and liquid paper only."

"Your race car will do 117? Sorry, we're limiting everyone to 100 today."

"You have an electric circular saw to build this deck? Sorry, hand saws only."

Just when I think you're irredeemable you say this. Maybe there is hope for you yet.

The only other Wolfenstein thread is two posts long so I'll appropriate these one.

We're getting a prequel to The New Order that's being priced at $20 (but is still standalone). Looks like it'll be more Nazi killing goodness, and I enjoyed the production of the trailer.

Yay! Thanks for bringing this post back Popo. I love that game on my PS4 and if they're doing a prequel I can't hardly wait as the weird form of history they created there was so damn fun and compelling for a single player only shooter. I pounded away at that game like crazy until I was finished, first PS4 game I knocked off.

By the way I read without realizing it at first your post going after those HardOCP snobs and their technical review. You're right, they're just goons wanting to only give a game a fair shake if it can help them maintain a stiffy like some digital viagra and that's just pathetic. You made some great digs at their behavior about the so called limitations of the game and you're pretty on the nose about the FPS, aspect, and the rest. They do deserve credit for the lack of AA though as that is kind of odd but it appears they did improve the RAGE engine some so I don't see the big beef there.
