After pulling an all righter with my Saturn, I popped in a disc this afternoon, started the game within the ARP menu.....and it just hangs at the loading prompt. Happens with all my JPN games. The CD drive sounds like it's laboring while it hangs at the loading screen, then no noise from the system at all.
When I try to boot a US title (with/without the ARP), the system works fine.
Any idea whats going on?

The Saturn cart slots are REALLY finicky. I would recommend cleaning the cart slot, but you have to be careful. The pins are so fragile you can EASILY mess them up. Definitely clean the AR cart pins, as you would any game cart.
