Looking like Tuesday works best! Let's get a full party going!

A much more reliable method of getting the DC online is the telephone line simulator method, it costs about 100 in parts but it works with all games and is rock solid from what I hear. We talked about it here or in the pso thread a while back.

Aside from working with all games - I thought the TLS just made it easier to dial?
In other news, I got that enhancement pack to work, Blu! It's amazing how much that speeds the game up!
I've been having some problems staying connected to Sylverant. I've been getting disconnected after 10-15 minutes of play pretty consistently. Nothing about my setup has changed, and i've managed to stay online much longer than that in the past - So i'm going to chalk it up to a fluke for now.

That's strange for sure. I was online the other night and had no problems staying connected. Let's hope tonight doesn't give you problems!

I am working on getting a setup going. I'm hoping I'll be able to join you guys in the near future. It will be really fun to revisit PSO online with the Dreamcast, which I haven't done in a good 12 or 13 years.Blu wrote:That's strange for sure. Did you end up going with the Zoom modem then? You'll have to let us know how it works out!FerretGamer wrote:I am working on getting a setup going. I should take Hardcore Gaming 101 more seriously.
They said that Langrisser Millenium sucks. And guess what? It sucks.

Re: How is your Dreamcast gaming going on?
Technically not "dreamcast" gaming. But I got PSO v2 running on my PC and connected to Sylverant today. It's quick, smooth and a joy to play. It immediately worked with my wired 360 controller (except the triggers for some reason) and played perfectly with it.
Best of all? It's cross-play with the Dreamcast version! That's not just talking in the lobby - you can join the same games and complete missions together!
So for any of you who don't have the DC version, or just can't get your internet working, I can get you set up with a PC version and you can play with us folks on the Dreamcast!
Speaking of! I'm up to level 17 Blu! We'll have to play again soon!

Not sure why I wasn't aware of this, but I had no idea that the servers were cross platform (which makes sense). That's really cool. I've been meaning to check out the PSO private servers. A part of me really wants to invest in the Gamecube setup, though.SpoonyBard wrote: Best of all? It's cross-play with the Dreamcast version! As far as my Dreamcast gaming, I picked up a copy of Feet of Fury homebrew sealed at a local game shop for $10. I have yet to pop it in, though.
Anyone have experience with the game? Worth investing in a dance pad for or does it play just fine with the controller? Also, any other goatstore homebrew games worth investing in for the Dreamcast (Irdes, Inhabitants, Cool Herders, Maquipai)?
Lastly, is Bangai-O worth the current asking price? (around $50)
