HAHAHAHA. You've seriously already made my week, Michi. Thank you for these, I'm going to save them, that's for sure! :)

Don't worry, I always give photo credits for original works of art! :)

These posts might prompt me to create a bird thread. I feed LOTS of birds, albeit not by hand.

I came very unprofessionally close to taking the day off to take some spoof pics.

There's always tomorrow. We go through seed like grocery $, especially nyjer and black oil. We have a thistle feeder that's about 4.5 ft. long - it's huge. It also holds a buttload of seed. It's a beautiful site when it's transformed into a yellow beam from all the finches clinging to it.

If you've read Night Tree you'll know where this inspiration comes from.
Every December 23rd we take lard and peanut butter; lather up boxes, wrapping paper rolls, and anything really that can be mounted in a tree. After it's covered in a base of lard or PB, we cover them in seeds, nuts, grains, oats, fruits, etc.

Then we chop veggies, fruits and meats. Fill ice cube trays 1/3 of the way, freeze, then add the chopped foods, then a piece of edible "rope" (licorice strings work), then more water - freeze them. 2-hours later we have ornaments. We put stuff all over the backyard, but the largest concentration goes to a large tree we can watch from our window. For weeks (months) animals will come to forage in these areas. The first couple days, usually Christmas days is the busiest. They are still out there this morning finding tiny seeds and whatnot. With the snow as it comes and goes it reveals bits that were knocked to the ground in the first days.
As for a spoof pic. I don't want to say exactly - i'm just saying I do have a 16lb Rooster and a princess dress that I know I could make fit.
