Like a lecture from a God:
It really is a course on stand up 101, times a thousand.
Gold.
Just Gold.
Everything Robin Williams says is perfect, but his stance on winning over a crowd is almost too on point. He mentions having to win the crowd over quickly, but not too quickly by playing too much to the audience. He has said the same stiff on Letterman and Carson.
So honest, so humble, so hilarious.
He also mentions that all comedians sandblast each other. True to headliners...possibly...but in my experience comedians want nothing more than to see their pals and gals succeed. It is a rough business, but there is much a "we're all in this together" feeling.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Maybe not quite as light & innocent as "3 is a Magic Number" but I've long been a huge fan of Logan Whitehurst & the Junior Science Club which I would categorize as "children's music for adults" kind of like They Might Be Giants only more silly/ridiculous.

I'm sure there's some amount of variance, but does anyone know how long it typically takes PayPal to "resolve" issues? I've been locked out of my account for some time now, which is irritating because I've missed a few decent eBay purchases.
Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Who keeps letting the Random thread get bumped down this far?
If I made a thread that was like the Games Beaten thread, only for multiple hobbies beyond video games, would any one care to participate in it?
