If I were to rip up a poorly written short story and leave the pages in a sequence for hikers to pick up along a single trail of a state park (highlighting each page with a giant neon arrow of course) then I will have created a modern video game with the most realistic graphics anyone has ever seen! I could make millions.

What scares me is how accurate and true this sounds about most video games...

Just tried that one for the first time an hour ago.

Seriously impressive. Gonna try to beat it later in the year.

I miss collections. Like, big video game collections. Now, since we have digital, games can be released all on their own, and we miss out on collections like Street Fighter Alpha Anthology and Mega Man Anniversary.

not to say there aren't any anymore, we still have Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection and some others, but i do miss the frequency of them. :(
Currently Playing: Hatsune Miku Project Diva F 2nd (PS3)

Plus, my "real" gaming/collecting interest is mainly 8/16-bit JRPGs and I don't want to stray too far.

Also, I'm unemployed.
And this is why i'm glad I don't have the money, time, or effort for this type of thing. Honestly I love the whole arcade scene for some odd reason and wish I had the money, time and space to invest in it...
I found that I did not have the Time or Effort for the hundred + games on my shelf so I sold most of them for the Money and Space and enjoy my 30 arcade games and 50 or 60ish console games. I found a happy medium. :D

Agreed. Many of my favorite releases on 7th gen consoles have been compilations.

Doesn't seem like many (any?) have dropped for 8th gen systems yet. Hoping we at least get a few for the Vita and/or 3DS.

From what I read Sam's Club also has exclusive overlays for your Intellvision Flashback controllers that you won't get in a normal package (but you can order all of them for $14.99 here, they also fit in the original Intellivision controllers!)

Oh yeah I should have mentioned that!

The Sam's Club editions of all the flashbacks have bonuses of some sort. The Coleco one also has overlays.

This ever happen to you?

I'm out shopping and see a used semi-obscure 7th gen game for $10. I think "hey not bad" and buy it.

Get home to see you can get it NEW on Amazon for $5.
