I'll refrain from making a joke about the Xzibit meme "Yo Dawg I heard you like sealed games so I sealed your sealed games"

I wouldn't say I collect for the Wii U but I am always looking out for good deals. I do have a decent number of games for it though.
Yea, I make sure to put mine in sleeves. For low cost it does a nice job of keeping them minty.

I've gotten into Wii U collecting a bit early. I noticed some games were being clearanced out and started picking those up new along with the games I wanted to play. Then I noticed some titles were going OOP quickly and of course had to grab those up before prices shot up. Before I realized it I had a sizeable Wii U collection and with little 3rd party support I decided I may as well go for a full set. I'm sure it will be a while to complete it but I'm trying to pick up as many as possible while still keeping up with the other systems I'm working on.

I'm over 150 for the Wii at last count. Do you all also collect for Wii U yet?
You guys have me beat. I'm only at 108.

Which is still a hell of a lot more than I originally thought

I keep meaning to buy protective materials for my games ... but I always end up spending it on more games.

I think you guys got me beat on the Wii game library count. I think I got like 95. Are people's libraries filled with multiplatform ports?

I actually use those plastic baggies for my jewel case games because they scratch so easy, never thought i needed them for the dvd case games since dvd cases are pretty durable.

Looking at my list, I'd say around 30 (give or take, I'm not sure on a couple of them) or so were ports or were eventually ported to another console (Muramasa, DKC Returns, etc.) So, about a third of mine are ports? I'm sure others here will have different statistics.

Yeah, that seems to line up with what I was thinking.

I'm definitely not counting stuff like DKCR, No More Heroes, House of the Dead Overkill, or Muramasa. I was talking about games more like Rayman Origins, or the Lego games. Just multiplatform releases at the time.

If the numbers are starkly different, it makes me curious in what I've missed in the library. I can find about 30 other titles I'd be interested in owning, but that still wouldn't get me to 150+

So, if there are super hidden gems, I'd like to hear about them.

My reviews, OP is link indexed - http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... 63#p418963

I reviewed some well known Wii and Gamecube games as well as quite a few uncommons. Also discovered alternate control options to make a game that is thought average into a fun game.

I'm (only) at 71 Wii games but with my want list, I top out at 84 (ish). I'm always adding new ones though (like Ghost Squad and Geometry Wars: Galaxies - my last Wii pickup)

No More Heroes
No More Heroes 2
Klonoa
Castle of Shikigami III
A Boy and his Blob
Endless Ocean Blue World
Bit.Trip Complete
Okami
Muramas: The Demon Blade
Little King’s Story
Dead Space Extraction
Ivy the Kiwi
Ghost Squad

Others from our new Wii thread that I don't own nor have on my want list (so maybe we get to 100 someday):

Zack and Wiki Quest for Barbaro's Treasure
Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn
Trauma Team
Lost in Shadow
Red Steel (1 and 2)
Excitebots
Ultimate Shooting Collection 2 (jp)

I'm sitting at just over 180 retail Wii games, but not all of those games are really worth owning. (Kids games, games that were cheap and just not worth selling/trading after trying.) I seem to recall counting up the games that I'd actually like to keep and ending in the 120 range.

Pretty crazy what 8 years of collecting will do. The scary part is that I planned to top out and stop... but already own almost 30 Wii U games too. The bright side is that Wii U isn't going to get 180 games released, so I won't have to worry about getting carried away.
