That's pretty crazy and it seems that the plastic attachment is what is driving the price up.

I've got that Slapshot with the stick sealed - at one time it was very inexpensive (I want to say $19.99?).

Next up I need NBA Baller Beats sealed with the basketball to skyrocket in price!

(note: I'm not flipping these, although for $120, I'm tempted)

Not that long ago, maybe a year and a half, Slapshot was being blown out at EB Games in Canada for $2 or $3 apiece (with the stick peripheral).

Hard to believe that they couldn't give away stock just a little while ago, and now the game is "valuable"... but that's the free market for you.

Sadly, I have not. I found a copy locally once; passed on it; researched it; and proclaimed it the greatest video game concept of all time. When I went back to purchase it, however, it was gone, and I have deeply regretted missing my chance to pick up that amazing game.
mjmjr25 wrote:As for the others - I can only comment on Fizzwhistle. I'll assume you want it for the same reasons I did - for the kids...but it's...bad. Not, "Oh this is bad, so bad, it's cheesy I love it!". It's just bad.
Yeah...I don't have high hopes for it. I can't resist a Breakout clone, however, and I hope to get a copy for just a few dollars. (Besides...the fact that a game is really, really bad has never stopped me from adding it to my collection. )

I guess we are finally starting to see prices creep up now that many of them are gone from Gamestop shelves.

I'm glad I was able to get a significant amount of games before having to resort to online only. I really regret passing on NHL Slapshot all of those times since I remember seeing the bundles sitting around and nobody buying them. It's hard to catch them all!

I ended up buying it a while back because different weird and inexpensive. However, I do not buy pricey games that shoot way up in value that I would never play.

Speaking of other consoles that are download games with a better disc option, both 360 Cubed Compilation (REZ) and PS3 Journey Compilation are definite must haves which I had to buy.
Okay a week later and I picked up both Wii Groovin Blocks and Tetris Party Deluxe. Though both are just variations of Tetris, still a lot of fun. Tetris Party has gone up in price, anticipate it will keep climbing passed the "falling" block prices. The Hook to buy both of these is another two games with the NES Sideways option, perfect for my modded Wiimote wired in with a NES controller or 2600 Wico Joystick plug in option. Oh yeah and the Tetris Deluxe game has some very cool modes including one that had to be inspired by exclusive to Japan SNES game series. I'll post an in depth review later on.

Heard Calling got a reprint. Didn't really see that coming since it was Hudson, who bought Hudson?

I keep buying cheap extra Wii games I come across that I see in nice condition. Cause I know gamestop is just going throw out the cases and manuals.

Edit: Picked up another Destroy All Humans today because mine was missing the manual but now I noticed the discs are different.

I'm guessing the blue may be the original and the full color a reprint but does anyone know for sure.
