It was OK. It was beautifully produced, but last year's performance was a bit more polished.jp1 wrote:Those are great. How was the show?prfsnl_gmr wrote:I took my daughter to see The Nutcracker a few days ago, and it prompted me to wear my finest cufflinks:

Still, a nice way to spend the evening. I wish we had a good live theater around here. The Nutcracker sounds like a great tradition too, sure to be cherished memories.prfsnl_gmr wrote:It was OK. Most certainly. We are very lucky that Charlotte has professional ballet and opera companies. My daughter also enjoys the shows immensely, and I hope she has good memories of the production. Since my wife and I were probably overly critical of this year's show, however, we may take next year off, and come back when both of our children are old enough to attend the show. (My son is three, and there is no way he could sit through The Nutcracker right now.)jp1 wrote:Still, a nice way to spend the evening. I wish we had a good live theater around here.
