did you already say "it sucks"? If so then, yeah. I'd not really know what else to write.
:lol:

Its divisiveness is part of the reason it is so interesting, but it is hard to write about elements of its design in such a way as to both be reflective of its pedigree and position in shmup history and descriptive of the experience of playing it. I am managing, but this is a really challenging game to contextualize for those not familiar with the genre.

sounds like the word you're looking for is "overrated." You're welcome.

Here's your description of Battle Garegga:

Everything you know about shmups is wrong.

HG 101 gave Garegga a good treatment -- don't quite understand what is wrong.

WHAT?! The opening sentence there says:

Battle Garegga is a game with a divisive reputation.

:lol:
But as for Raizing, I'd much rather play Batrider or even Battle Bakraid.

(Still talking about RE4) So I started playing Separate Ways, I'm about an hour into it. I never bothered to look up what all the extras in RE4 were. I don't know, I guess I had low expectation of what Separate Ways was gonna be. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it's AWESOME. It plays JUST as good as the main game, and having the "separate" viewpoint of the story line is awesome.

Sometimes it's all the little things that'll make something great. Like the shotgun that Leon can get off the wall in that house, Ada will say "better leave this for Leon." And after Leon is captured, you find a random enemy wearing his jacket. If you search the enemy Ada will say something like "Isn't this Leon's jacket?" That one had me cracking up. The main game never shows/tells you why he lost his jacket. He has it one minute, then he's captured, then the next cut scene it's gone. Some random villager took it and just starting wearing it. :lol:

I wonder how long the Humble Bundle can offer 4 to 5 games at $1 (pay whatever you want) . Sooner or later the market will saturate... unless people are just hoarding.

@Ziggy

is RE4 your first RE game? What do you think of it? I wanted to play that game since like 2007 but I wanted to go through the series in sequence first.

I have purposely skipped reading your posts, so I won't read any spoilers. I think I will play it next after I complete AC II

People are hoarding. I really don't know any gamers that don't have a backlog. :lol:
