Not in every zone. Hydrocity is very clearly two different songs, for example.

Hydrocity is Sonic 3.

Yeah that's because Sonic Team isn't actually the same sonic team that was around 14 years ago. It's just a name and a logo they slap on stuff to make you think it might be good. I think that plan is starting to backfire now though since people now associate sonic team with utter shit.
