Isn't it the most charming game ever? So much personality put into such a tiny package. And what a deal!?Flake wrote:I just want everyone to drop what they are doing and go play Captain Toad.

I smile and giggle like an idiot when I'm playing it because the game is just overwhelmingly positive and fun. Every time Captain Toad declares that it is now "Time for Adventure" I enter my rock and roll power stance.BogusMeatFactory wrote:Isn't it the most charming game ever? Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Wait! I forgot....it's on the WiiU? Well then it must be garbage because of Nintendo's poor customer service and overall pricing as well as underpowered hardware! How dare you enjoy yourself!Flake wrote:

I'm just kidding. Enjoy the fuck out of Captain Toad, because seriously a game like this is conceptually impossible to make by a mainstream developer, because it is, "too risky," and for that I salute Nintendo.

Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

GTA5 was kind of a slow burn early on. It was holding my interest but I wasn't sure about it. Once Trevor got into the city and the three have been teaming up though, it's been nonstop awesome. It will be hard to go back to a single character again as well, if they ever decide to do that again.
These three are some of the worst humans imaginable, but I think that's the charm and the point haha. No idea who I like most, but combined they make a hilarious and awesome combo.
I guess I have close to 15 hours at about 43% completion. I wasn't sure if I'd put it above Far Cry 4, but... at this point I think I will. There's a lot to do, but not the map isn't too riddled with pointless collectibles and that sort of crap.
I was randomly running around some of the mountains and put it into first person mode. I guess it does look about as good as Far Cry 4 as well, which is impressive. I still think the first person view is way too clunky though, but I give it a pass on that since it wasn't really designed with it originally. It'll be great if they can refine that for the next game though.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
At Sam's Club today me and this other guy were looking at the Atari Flashback systems.
He said something like "Wow! Imagine how much money a person could make if they kept their original Atari games! Those things are worth a fortune these days." I thought about telling him that I have about 100 Atari 2600 games sitting at home and that I'm not sitting on a gold mine because they're worth about a buck apiece. But I just kinda chuckled and nodded and then strolled to the back of the store to look for some cases of Shasta.
