Good stuff johnblade. I try to buy everything Discotek releases because they rock. And anything old school really. Loving how good the old stuff is being treated lately with Discotek, Sentai, and Righstuff. Some amazing releases going on.

that is quite the collection you've got there johnblade.

I have plenty too. On dvd I have my favorites and a few I've picked up cheap over the years.

I still like collecting anime. I do stream sometimes but there's something nice about putting them up for me to stare at, Just like my games! LOL.

I've paid full retail for a few of them, but most I've bought online clearance. Some shows have waned in popularity or weren't that much talked about. I've gotten some nice sets for less than $20.

Sometimes its hard to buy single volumes or just wait for the box sets to come out. Its taken my cheap ass a few years to finish some series. But I've done it.

Heh, Noir is what my Steam ID references (truenoir).

I'd say streaming more replaced downloading fansubs for me. I still like buying discs for stuff I particularly liked. Especially with today's generally-more-reasonable prices for sets.

My daughter has been watching Ranma ½.

Looks like there are some new DVD sets out now, huh?

It's coming out in Blu ray and dvd. I think 5 sets is out as of now. They're all in sale if you're interested in picking them out on Right Stuff page.

Did you buy it Johnblade?

Did they fix the continuity problem in the ranma series? I have the original 1 and 2 on DVD and there's some episodes out of place. There's clearly an episode in the first box set that should have been in the second.

Did they do this to fit more content on the first season? I have and read the manga so I can tell these things.

There's also a few filler episodes too. Never seen them in the manga. Not to mention the anime specific characters like Sasuke replacing Gosunkugi.

/nerd rant.

I've been watching Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill and lately, Deadman Wonderland.

I absolutely adored Kill la Kill and I'm looking for something similar. Gurren Lagann is okay, but not incredible, I haven't finished it yet.

But Deadman Wonderland, wow, I really like it. I'm glad Netflix put it up.

I've been on a binge lately - just finished Wolf's Rain (subbed), which I think might take the cake for least-favorite anime.

Now I'm watching Trigun (dubbed), and I like it a lot. Vash is so silly
Final Fantasy IX is the best one
