telling a girl how much you love video games

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Mine plays the MM2 AirMan theme.

Lie - its more fun that way. And make it last as long a possible. Unless you actually care about this person.

I'm usually straight about it. Anyone who isn't cool with my hobby isn't cool with me. You have your ways of burning time and I have mine. I'm a decent looking, funny (or so I'm told), confident, and friendly guy, so I've never really had a problem finding women even being ULTRA geeky. For heaven's sake, I ran my High School's anime club for 3.5 years, have a giant Star Trek foam finger I wear every time I watch Star Trek, and am currently wearing Nintendo pants  . I've only ever been with one girl, but that's mainly because I'm selective :| .

Sorry if this comes off as cocky. I can't help it. I'm cocky  .

You gotta ease them into it. You can't just throw it all at them at once, by showing them the secret code to get into your house is playing zeldas lullaby...itll probably scare them away (Girls have no idea whats cool).

So you have to equivocate...not lie...equivocate.
You dont spend every waking hour playing games. You spend a fair amount of time saving the world.
You dont spend the majority of your pay cheque on games. You amounted a generous collection over time.
Your nintendo themed bedroom and bathroom are actually for your younger relative that was staying with you before, and you have not had a chance to change it (and never will).

I've actually talked to some of my female friends about this topic, and most of them agree that even though girls may not like the idea of you owning/playing a lot of video games, deep down they enjoy playing them too.

she obviously isn't worth your time if your game collection makes you any different from Joe Schmo and his football jerseys or some shit. I have been with my gf for a few years and I'm lucky enough that she actually enjoys games, just tonight she was asking me if I could play Resident Evil 4 so she could watch me play (she gets too scared so it's like a movie for her when I play). it was cute.
I have a few systems and a couple hundred games, it never gets in the way of our relationship.

Or find a girl who likes you for who you are.

I got one, and it rocks.
Hey fuck you and your damn luck.

Seriously though, how do you even find someone like that? What's the name of the quest?
It isn't luck... just be your damn self. It never failed me!

Downside is myself can't stand relationships so I destroy them with dynamite after a couple months. I'm like a sociopath or something when I hit that 3 month marker. Ruthless I tell ya! I once pretended I didn't know a bitch when she came in my house and proceeded to call her a thief and pretended to call the cops.

Ugh I should be shot or something. That girl was actually pretty cool.

But no it isn't lieing, it's being confident. Confidence gets me everywhere, maybe only 5% of the women I know is because they thought I was "emotional" and "sweet". Where they got the idea is beyond me... they must of saw me on one of my "moody" days or something.

Ugh the "sweet" card. They're always like "Why don't you have a beautiful wife, you're so sweet, doody doody." Then they rub all over mr. douchebag McConfidence. So fuck that "sweet" shit.
