What was the last movie you've seen?

Mononoke is tits. It's got a giant wolf that rips a chick's arm off after being beheaded.

Also it's beautiful visually and emotionally and junk.

Future Boy Conan was my first exposure to Miyazaki, and I've seen all his stuff, but his recent works no longer have that magical charm to them sadly. They're still solid animated titles all said and done though.

I'm fairly certain that most Disney animators are required to study Miyazaki's work. I can see why.

Are you Frank Ducks?

OKAY U.S.A.!!!!!!

What I love is that they filmed in Kowloon before it was torn down. Shenmue 2 really had it right man. What a crazy world.

Dux...

What I love is that "young Frank" wears a San Fran Giants hat with a NYGiants shirt. Wardrobe basically said "Fuck it. Giants are Giants".

So much more to love.

Leah Ayres reaction shots are incredible.

All of the writing is hilarious. Example: "Can't you die at the Kumatae?" "Only if you fuck up!"

The film has a judge that looks like judge Ito.

The Van Damme Butt in the sunlight shot.

Drinking Miller High Life on a bus...and on hospital bed...and basically drinking high life everywhere.

Coin tricks.

Montages on top of montages.

That soundtrack.

So awesome.

Dude, the montages! Seriously has one of the greatest homo-erotic montages ever seen! I mean...what is up with Dux relationship with his master and his master's wife. That is some awkward stuff going on there! The whole torture rack scene.

Seriously though...you are absolutely right. There is no one moment that defines Bloodsport. It is every single second jam packed into this spectacular film.

Is anyone else familiar with the 2000 film Boys and Girls? Because it seems like that movie has completely disappeared from the internet's collective unconsciousness while it was a major film for me during my teenage years.

I believe he is in his late twenties/early thirties, as am I. I turned 15 in 2000. I turn 30 in two months.
