Vice City was the first with a real good map to me. GTA3's was hilarious in a lot of ways though with the crazy hills, it was fun to ramp around...

Did GTA3 have the property buying/income thing too? I liked that a lot about Vice City and San Andreas.

GTA4 I enjoyed... but damn, what a huge step backwards from the PS2 ones.

I am actually about to start up GTA5 myself, the PS4 edition. Very stoked since this one looks like it's the true successor to the PS2 games that actually have things to do in the city.

Property was new in Vice City. That, bikes, and being able to go into some buildings were the big selling points for that one. Oh and clothes.

I enjoyed 4, but it feels fairly restrictive and not really like you're in this place. Sort of like a really dense check box open world game. Not like a bunch of junk is going on. I guess the big thing for 4 was just a much larger Liberty City and online. And the online is pretty fun.

But 5 is amazing. I've put very little time into San Andreas, but, 5 is the GTA I've enjoyed the most by a mile.

Nope. Should I?

Andreas is incredible. If you grew up listening to gangster rap and saw the LA riots live on tv, the game puts you right there. You either make a connection with it or ya don't, but if you do...dear God it is awesome.

Mega Man X4 is a great game. I have made multiple attempts at beating it since its release, but I was never able to beat Sigma's final form (which is easily one of the most difficult bosses in any Mega Man game). I decided to make another run at the game last week, and I was finally able to defeat him (with Mega Man X). I am pleased with my accompishment, and I am happy to finally have this game under my belt.

Dino Strike is an on-rails light gun shooter for the Wii. The graphics are only slightly better than what you would see in a N64 game; the music and sound effects are muted; the game has seven levels but only five enemy types; and you can compelte the game in just under an hour. Nonetheless, it was pretty fun, and it was nice to play a family-friendly rail-shooter with my children. (They thought is was awesome.) The game does have some unlockable content; so while I cannot recommend it, I may go back through it again sometime to improve my scores and accuracy ratings.

With X4 I felt like it came down to figuring out the patterns for his first two forms so you could take little-to-no damage, thus leaving yourself with full sub-tanks and full health for the final form. The pattern of the heads are pretty easy to handle, and the gunner form is easy, so all your resources need to be focused on not getting trashed by the face form and killing it as fast as possible.

Agreed. By the time I beat him, I could handle the first two forms easily. I could also consistently avoid damage from the "heads" and his gunner form. The "face" is very unpredictable, however, and it can wipe you out pretty quickly. Accordingly, I saved my sub-tanks until I was having a very good "run" and was almost certain I could beat him. (My past failures stemmed from frustrations with re-filling my sub-tanks after close losses.)

I think that the game is actually easier with Zero; so, now that I have a good hanld on Sigma, I may make another run through it with him.

I did a Zero run right after my X run when I first did X4 and I found that overall he is the easier character to use. While he can't get most bosses into a react to damage loop like X can he's got a ton of raw power and his double jump gives him a lot of mobility. Once you get his spin jump he tears apart the stages as well.

I think that is part of what makes the game so great. If you play it with X, it is like playing a classic Mega Man X game. If you play it with Zero, however, it is like playing a classic Ninja Gaiden game.
