Your list has a few surprises(mainly Soul Blazer and Terranigma. I never really considered the series to be that big a name), but I agree with a lot of it. I think you should definitely do Street Fighter II Turbo, though you might consider adding in the other two SFII versions for just one big video so you can get them all out of the way.
Lagoon is being posted in a few weeks. And the Enix trilogy has been hyped to the point where its reputation probably exceeds its actual quality (although I do love Terranigma's story). As for SF2, I just haven't come up with enough stuff to say yet.

Also forgot I need to do Super Punch Out, Mickey's Magical Quest (ranked really high on the IGN Best SNES Games list for some reason) and Kirby Super Star (and/or Kirby's Dreamland 3).

Isn't Super Street Fighter 2 the best version on the SNES? The port names are very frigging confusing, I believe Street Fighter 2 Turbo is not the Same SF 2 Turbo grand masters challenge on the CPS2 and Super Street Fighter 2 came out 2 years later and is port of The New Challengers which added more characters. So if your going to get SF 2 for the SNES get Super.

That post alone was confusing.

It is excellent, and I really enjoyed how it utilized the 3D feature (never even have it turned on but I did for that game). I still think the first Zelda and Link's Awakening are the best in the series with that game a close 3rd.
What's your thoughts on Zelda II?
It's really, really hard. And I really, really suck at it. I haven't played it in years and years. I should probably check it out again sometime.
I personally always liked it, but like you, I haven't played it in 20 years. I might try to break out the old NES and pick up a copy just to see how it holds up.

What was it about the first game that did it so much for you?

Nice! This is one of my favorite SNES games (if I haven't already made that clear  ).

The music is definitely noteworthy, I'm glad you gave it a mention. That's one of my (major) complaints about the Sega CD version. They said, "Hey, it's on CD so let's use tracks from the movie just because we can!" Problem is they don't fit the levels, they're just straight rips from the movie OST and they loop poorly. The SNES version has some music from the movie, which was done well, and all the music that's original to the game is amazing.
