Re: Together Retro 2015 Poll
Megaman X is also on Wii U (VC), PS2 and Gamecube (Megaman X collection) and possibly XBox? (Did Megaman X collection get an XBox port?).fastbilly1 wrote:Runoff Polls are live. 3 days to vote.

Grim Fandango is coming to Vita too I think?

If we play all the Mortal Kombats and all the Mario Golfs, that makes three (four if you want to count TPA), where we are playing series and not titles.

Re: Together Retro 2015 Poll
I don't see this as an issue, but if you want to be more specific, the N64 Mario Golf is on N64, Wii and Wii U so that'd work fine.fastbilly1 wrote:If we play all the Mortal Kombats and all the Mario Golfs, that makes three (four if you want to count TPA), where we are playing series and not titles.
It actually features a link up connection using the Transfer Pak with Mario Golf for the GBC, so I would personally count them together myself!
I thought Mortal Kombat Trilogy specifically meant the actual game Mortal Kombat Trilogy, not MK 1, 2 and 3 anyhow.

My only issue is that it will divide the conversation. If no one else has that issue, it is not a problem.

Re: Together Retro 2015 Poll
Well, I can see why people started branching out from Trilogy, since it isn't as accessible as the other games.
MK3 and UMK3 are similar enough to Trilogy that cross-discussion should still remain relevant. And, those games are very accessible. Maybe add those as recommended alternatives or something, just to pull the folks that might be considering mk/mk2 to a more similar game?
But yeah, if people start playing Shaolin Monks, things could get out of hand.

Re: Together Retro 2015 Poll
for the most part, I think we should focus on one game with the understanding that dudes generally branch out on their own. IE: If we played Quake (the original game) as the focus, but I'm sure a bunch of us will be playing Quake Online. If we played MK Trilogy (the game) I'm sure others might pick 1-3 or whatever, but... yeah. I think the articles should focus on a specific game rather than entire series.

Only one of my suggestions made it, and it won by a landslide(Raiden).ZeroAX wrote:Holly shit my picks did really bad. Only 2 of them won (Quake and Megaman X) and 2 of them went to the run offs.
Aww, I was going to play Mortal Kombat: Special Forces and see if anyone noticed.dunpeal2064 wrote:Well, I can see why people started branching out from Trilogy, since it isn't as accessible as the other games.

Clearly the gaming community can't appreciate your eclectic taste.Ack wrote:Only one of my suggestions made it, and it won by a landslide(Raiden).ZeroAX wrote:Holly shit my picks did really bad. Only 2 of them won (Quake and Megaman X) and 2 of them went to the run offs.
Can we have a list of who nominated each game in the polls? Would be interesting to see
