Oct - Horror - D - 3do, SAT, PSX, PC

Dec - Shmup - Raiden - Arcade, Jaguar, Lynx, PC, PCE, PSX
Megaman X is also on Wii U (VC), PS2 and Gamecube (Megaman X collection) and possibly XBox? (Did Megaman X collection get an XBox port?).

Mario Golf is more of a series than a single game ported aroudn the place but it's available on Nintendo 64, Game Boy Colour, Game Boy Advance, Gamecube, Wii (Virtual Console) and 3DS (Both as a cartridge and on Virtual Console).

Grim Fandango is coming to Vita too I think?

If we play all the Mortal Kombats and all the Mario Golfs, that makes three (four if you want to count TPA), where we are playing series and not titles.

I don't see this as an issue, but if you want to be more specific, the N64 Mario Golf is on N64, Wii and Wii U so that'd work fine.

It actually features a link up connection using the Transfer Pak with Mario Golf for the GBC, so I would personally count them together myself!

I thought Mortal Kombat Trilogy specifically meant the actual game Mortal Kombat Trilogy, not MK 1, 2 and 3 anyhow.

My only issue is that it will divide the conversation. If no one else has that issue, it is not a problem.

Well, I can see why people started branching out from Trilogy, since it isn't as accessible as the other games.

MK3 and UMK3 are similar enough to Trilogy that cross-discussion should still remain relevant. And, those games are very accessible. Maybe add those as recommended alternatives or something, just to pull the folks that might be considering mk/mk2 to a more similar game?

But yeah, if people start playing Shaolin Monks, things could get out of hand.

for the most part, I think we should focus on one game with the understanding that dudes generally branch out on their own. IE: If we played Quake (the original game) as the focus, but I'm sure a bunch of us will be playing Quake Online. If we played MK Trilogy (the game) I'm sure others might pick 1-3 or whatever, but... yeah. I think the articles should focus on a specific game rather than entire series.

Only one of my suggestions made it, and it won by a landslide(Raiden).

Aww, I was going to play Mortal Kombat: Special Forces and see if anyone noticed.

Clearly the gaming community can't appreciate your eclectic taste.

Can we have a list of who nominated each game in the polls? Would be interesting to see :)
