Endo I'd start looking away from first party, there's a lot more than you could expect. That Pilotwings game is quite fun, but it's almost tech demo short.

I'd look into these games, just fire it up in metacritic or read owner reviews at gamefaqs.com for a heads up on them. Ace Combat, Adventure Time (Ice King..., plays like Zelda2), Bravely Default, Castlevania Lords of Shadow (plays like nes castlevania 3 mixed with god of war), Cave Story 3D, Code of Princess, Pinball Hall of Fame, Tales of the Abyss, both of the Theaterhytm Final Fantasy games, and if you like fighting Super Street Fighter IV and Dead or Alive are good choices.

By the way, Shantae and the Pirate's Curse is coming out this week. Obviously wait for reviews, but my guess is it's gonna turn out good. I really enjoyed Risky's Revenge. The biggest question is how well they managed to shift to full-on Metroidvania.

By the way, if you enjoy Kirby games, Triple Deluxe is good stuff.

Day zero buy for me.

Now let us hope we see a 3DS Metroid next.

Add a 3DS F-Zero and Nintendo will be back in my good graces.

I bet a Wii U F-Zero would push you over the edge on that system. :)

What a waste of resources on that awful Zelda game as they need to get out NEW stuff, or at least new stuff with dead or long forgotten IPs considering the trouble they're in.

I'd love it if they'd resurrect F-Zero, it's unfair having that one go down like that as the GC game did pretty nicely. Now about this Duck Hunt stuff...is it a free o paid character or at all in Smash, or was it a fun little joke to kick off they're placing the NES game on the WiiU VC (way overdue) and I Hope they push it to the 3DS too with tap gun antics.

Duck Hunt Dog and the bird are a playable fighter in Smash Bros Wii U. I don't know about 3DS yet, I don't own it.

They also mentioned that Duck Hunt will be coming to Virtual Console on Wii U.

I thought they laid it out very clearly.

The 3DS is in trouble?

3DS is doing fine.

Duck Hunt is in Smash 3DS. I've got him unlocked but haven't tried playing him yet.

Here's my retail (not eShop) 3DS collection thus far...

Angry Birds Star Wars
Angry Birds Trilogy
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone!
Bit.Trip.Saga
Bravely Default
Cave Story 3D
Code of Princess
Cooking Mama 4: Cooking Magic
Cooking Mama 5: Bon Appetit
Crosswords Plus
Disney Magical World
Doodle Jump Adventures
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
Dual Pen Sports
Fantasy Life
Gardening Mama 2: Forest Friends
Jewel Master: Cradle of Egypt 2
Jewel Master: Cradle of Rome 2
Kid Icarus: Uprising
Kirby: Triple Deluxe
Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes
Lego Chima: Laval's Journey
Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins
Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7
Lego Lord of the Rings
Lego Marvel Super Heroes
Lego Ninjago: Nindroids
Lego Pirates of the Caribbean
Lego Star Wars III
Lego The Hobbit
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
Mario Golf: World Tour
Mario Kart 7
Mario Party: Island Tour
Mario Tennis Open
Nikoli's Pencil Puzzle
Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions
Paper Mario: Sticker Star
Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask
Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright
Puzzler World 2013
Shifting Worlds
Shinobi
Super Mario 3D Land
Super Smash Bros.
Tales of the Abyss
Tetris: Axis
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
The Lego Movie Videogame
Yoshi's New Island

There's a ton of eShop games/VC games too, but it's getting late, and the eShop is a bit more obvious as to what's worth $$ and what isn't. So far, out of all the retail games I've purchased, I found Paper Mario: Sticker Star to be a bit of a turd. Most everything else has merit for various different reasons. As long as you stay away from most of the obvious shovelware, there's not a lot of wrong turns you can make while building your library.

The reason I bothered to list them all was that lots of stuff on that list should be pretty cheap by now, with the exception of the obvious first party stuff.
