I've always liked animated adaptations of those spandex-wearing heroes, and unlike live action they come out as less corny and so-damn-serious. This one is top-notch, and I imagine Part 2 to be of the same standard.

Yeah it's a great adaption and is better than the comic imo, which really suffered from all the journalistic commentary.

Saw Nightcrawler last night. Not as creepy as the trailer made it out to be, but still pretty good. Jake Gyllenhaal was on point.

I'm still not sure what that movie's supposed to be about. The two trailers I've seen have gone in two different directions.

Basic synopsis: weird guy that needs money decides to become a "nightcrawler" and chase down news/crime stories to video them as they happen.

I knew about most of these, but it's interesting to have your own intuitions confirmed or negated.

I like the one about The Happening. Movie is still unenjoyable shit, regardless of intention.

The funny thing is that the movies it is supposedly copying, The Birds and Invasion of the Body Snatchers, are both enjoyable films.

Even more enjoyable than the first. BtDKR and Nolan's The Dark Knight (Just the second one, the other two bored me) are my favourite Batman adaptations to date. The cartoon show had some really good episodes too.
