Wow decided to get all preachy eh? I'm just tired of the level of corner cutting being done these days. Clearly they're trying to disgust people out of wanting physical releases by skimping on every single thing possible and it's just getting really tiresome. Nintendo has always been on the cheap side when making systems, but they're really taking it overboard with the games these days.

No. It's because Nintendo is joining everybody else in having their stuff now become made in China garbage that we buy here in the States.


That table you bought that now has a splinter in the leg after 3 weeks? Made in China
That chair that now has a rip after 5 days? Made in China
That rack that has uneven holes to drill through? Made in China
That door you have to buy new brackets for because the old ones don't fit the uneven holes on that door? Made in China
Those screws you bought at the hardware store that got bent after 3 uses and later broke? Made in China
That printer that likes to malfunction after half a year of use? Made in China
Everything else that isn't food/beauty products/clothes that breaks apart, is uneven, and generally goes to shit in a hurry? Made in China


So if anything, don't be mad at the fact that Nintendo is corner cutting, be mad that they're now like everybody else in corner cutting.

You know what is made in America? Fools like you who sit and bash another country and their people who have the intelligence of a rock. You have your uneducated views of the world around and you are too dumb to know you do not know that you have no idea what the fuck you are saying. I don't think he is bashing any ethnicity. It seems he is speaking of the fact that countries use other countries for cheap labor and that cheap labor comes at a cost, China being one of the main ones. China can make great products but a cost cutting company wouldn't take advantage of that as they are maximizing profits by taken advantage of the cheap labor workforces.

Capitalism breeds shoddy workmanship. You have to constantly sell to maintain profits and products that last don't constantly sell. If he is making fun of anyone it is most of western society.

I know double post, blah blah. I realize though I should explain that sentence. Bash cheap parts that are made in part of the world on a basis of a global economy. When you point out a certain people or country you are focusing directly on them If he wants to say that "cheap parts made ANYWHERE in the world are bad", then fine point made. The point was made directly at the chinese as if they are the end all, be all of the cheaply made products of the entire planet. Thank god for them as most every damn thing in my house is foreign made.

100% total truth, no trolling: to me it read as if he was bashing Chinese products. Specifically, products that are imported here. He finds them to be of poor quality. That isn't a slam against the people of China. If anything it is a criticism of the low standards of American consumers to value cheap, easily replaced products over higher quality goods.

Obviously many nice things are made in China, and Chinese craftsmanship can rival that of any in the world. That doesn't change his point that 90% of the shit in Wal-Mart is cheaply produced Chinese goods that break accordingly...

EDIT: I don't know that he's required to invoke global labor conditions that explain the cheap quality and cost of many Chinese goods in order to criticize those goods.

90% of what is sold at Wal-Mart breaks down? How do they stay in business? You may want to evaluate your personal view on Chinese made stuff. The years is 2014, not 1970. things are different. At one time I bought a great deal of chinese parts as part of a job. They did fine by my view. Regardless, if not for these people making things affordable we would have a greater division of have and have nots in this country and leads to a whole new discussion. Feel free to PM me if you feel the need for deeper discussion.

I just suggest people re-think the views they were taught and grew up with. Time are different. I am off to bed though so please put on hold further discussion and go back to the Wii-U. I did not mean to derail it at all.

So they found 2 more ways to be super cheap, cut down the amiibo molds, then stick the code number on the inside cover art of the case. Oh the trees! The amount of support they're getting on WiiU, it might save a whole christmas tree lot worth of wood.
